The Department of Physical Education at The University of South Carolina is accepting applications for Ph.D. assistantships starting in Fall, 2023. Concentrations are offered in motor behavior and physical education pedagogy. Specific research foci include motor behavior, physical education teacher education, adapted physical education, and sport psychology. Our program is designed to prepare doctoral students for tenure-track faculty appointments at research intensive institutions of higher education.
