Nomination Deadline
The nomination deadline is March 23, 2025 by 5:00pm Eeastern Time. Nominations submitted after this deadline will not be accepted unless the Awards Committee requests additional clarification for an already submitted nomination.
Award winners will be notified by approximately April 15th of each year and will be invited to the awards presentation ceremony at the NCPEID Annual Conference in July.
Nomination Requirements and Guidelines
It is the nominator's responsibility to demonstrate in a 1-2 page written statement to the Awards Committee why the person nominated is deserving of the particular award. The letter of nomination must be accompanied by the nominee's up-to-date vitae. Letters of support are encouraged but not required. Nominators are encouraged to carefully review the criteria for each award and demonstrate how the candidate meets said criteria. The Awards Committee will determine who, if anyone, will receive awards in a given year.
Nominations are encouraged by someone other than the potential recipient. Self-nomination is permitted, but corresponding letter(s) of support must accompany nomination materials.
NCPEID members can nominate more than one person per year; however, each nominator can only nominate one person per award category. Past award recipients cannot be nominated for the award they have previously received. However, past award recipients can be nominated for awards in other categories.
